Do I Need a Public Adjuster?
ABSOLUTELY YES ! By New Jersey law, you the policyholder, have the right to be represented by a Public Adjuster, just like the Insurance Company will be represented by their Insurance Adjuster. When they show up at your doorstep to assess your damage, he/she will be friendly but they ARE NOT your friend. |
Most policyholders are do not have the technical background to understand the contractural technicalities within the insurance policy(ies). Covered Perils, Proof of Loss, Depreciation, Loss of Use, Contents, Valuation Methods, etc are but a few of the technical issues which the Insurance Industry has designed and implented into their insurance policy contract.
